I am still giving three stars since they were sincerely apologetic and professional about the mistake, I know the person who served us the wrong food felt horrible. There’s too much room for error otherwise, especially with how crowded it was and it was a weeknight. I feel like this issue can be avoided if they had the allergy indicator sticks in the food and/or ONLY the manager/waiter bring out allergy friendly food. The manager came over right away and sincerely apologized and then the waiter came over and said all our food was comped, so I feel like they did what they could to make it right but all the food became questionable and I was sick the next morning so I wonder if something else got mixed up. She completed her Ophthalmology Residency at the University of Chicago. I picked up the pita but realized it felt way too fluffy for gluten free so didn’t eat it and when I asked our waiter he immediately knew it was not gluten free.
